Bye-bye, Becky, bye-bye...

Westhampton Beach Village Clerk Rebecca Molinaro will be leaving that position at the end of April to take on the responsibilities of East Hampton Village administrator.
It is a move which is at first blush a shock, but upon reflection, no surprise to anyone who has closely observed the activities at Village Hall over the past 7½ months.
"It has become a toxic work environment around here," one Village official said this morning. "I can't blame her for wanting out."
(The source was referring to the reconstituted troika on the Village Board which has been sniping at the Village Clerk of recent over "financial matters.")
"It'll be a good time for me to step down," Ms. Molinaro said. "The 2013-2014 Budget will be completed and it will allow the Village time to find a replacement."
While there are no leading candidates to replace Ms. Molinaro as yet, it's a solid bet that the appointment of her successor will be the next pitched battle at Six Corners.

Big loss for the Village!
The unmistakable clicking of knitting needles can be heard in Oneck.

I'm very happy for Becky! She is a wonderful person, someone that I have know for almost a dozen years! East Hampton's gain, Westhampton Beach's loss.
And those three fatheads still don't get any part of it!

Shame on you Hank Tucker! Will the people of this Village wake the hell up. He is killing the Village, him and his old pal Levan. Losing Becky is the final straw. I wish her the best, we lost the best. Let's all band together and take back our Village!!!
