Darkly poetic justice

A paparazzo was struck and killed by a car while attempting to cross four lanes of traffic after stopping to take pictures of pop star Justin Bieber's Ferrari when it was pulled over along a freeway in Los Angeles.

The vehicle which drew the deceased's attention may have been Bieber's, but the young singer was not on site.

In his zeal to get a photo for his employer TMZ, 29-year-old lens-snapper Chris Guerra forgot to look both ways along Sepulveda Boulevard when he turned to return, at police direction, to his own vehicle.

[splat!] Opps!

Memo to paparazzi everywhere: Mind your own business!

(TMZ's curiously distanced report of the homicide.)

Pretty sad commentary on what is important in life - Bieber's car pulled over? The poor soul lost his life over that? Maybe Nancy Grace will do an investigative report!!

  1. 29 years old and that was his aspiration in life? To be a stalker-with-a-camera?
  2. Nancy Grace doesn't do "investigative reports" so much as she does shrill commentary in that hideous drawl!
