Westhampton Beach Eruv Association Inc. has followed up on The Jewish Week's article of a fortnight past which seemed to signal Hampton Synagogue's next shot in the eruv war.
WBEA advises that it is "an organization independent of the synagogue," but their response appears more like the second strike of an "ol' one-two punch," a double team effort against Jewish People Opposed to the Eruv. More...

Best known as the eccentric Harry Bentley on the long-running (1975-1985) TV sitcom The Jeffersons, Paul Benedict died at his home on Martha's Vineyard earlier this week.
The actor was also known to some as co-star of Who Was That Man, a short showcase film written and directed by actor Jon Korkes, and filmed mostly in Westhampton Beach in 1998.
Locations included the Crazy Dog Diner, the old barn behind Westhampton Agency on Sunset Avenue, and Captain Norm's on Dune Road in Hampton Bays.
The short film was given its premiere at the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center.
